As a school district we are committed to developing the whole child and believe participation in athletics, the arts, and other extra-curricular activities is an important component to a complete educational experience. With the ongoing pandemic, our school will continue to take every precaution to ensure that participation in athletic activities can be done so in the safest way possible. Middle school sports have resumed a normal schedule for the 2022-2023 school year where we will participate in the traditional competitive format (against other OCPS middle schools). During each season, teams will compete in two games a week and will have another two days of practice, meaning our middle school sports programs will be a four day a week commitment for the student-athletes.

Please see below for the list of sports offerings and tryout dates.

Please be reminded that all students wishing to tryout for a sport must have an up to date OCPS physical packet on file with the athletic office in order to participate. The physical packet can be downloaded by visiting the above ‘Athletics’ tab. As part of the packet, the EL2 form (athletic physical) must be fully completed, dated, and signed by a doctor. Physicals are valid for 365 days from the time of completion. At this time, a completed ECG (Electrocardiogram) is NOT required for middle school sports participation.
